What this site is

Trusted Cleaners List is a directory. We list cleaning companies in the United States and we check certain documents before listing them. We are not a cleaning company, an employment agency, or a booking platform.

We are not part of the job

When you hire a company from this directory, the agreement is between you and that company. We do not set the price, supervise the work, handle the payment, or take a commission. We are not liable for the work performed, damage to property, or anything that happens on site.

Open to anyone who cleans · Abierto a cualquiera que limpie

This directory is open to any cleaner or cleaning company working in the United States, whatever language they work in, wherever they or their family are from. Much of our written material is in Spanish because most of the cleaners we serve are Spanish-speaking business owners, but that is who we happen to reach, not a condition of entry. Every page for cleaners is available in English as well, and the directory itself is entirely in English.

Este directorio está abierto a cualquier persona o compañía de limpieza que trabaje en Estados Unidos, en el idioma que trabaje y venga de donde venga. Buena parte de nuestro material está en español porque la mayoría de los limpiadores a los que llegamos son dueños de negocio hispanohablantes, pero eso es a quién alcanzamos, no una condición para entrar. Todas las páginas para limpiadores existen también en inglés, y el directorio en sí está entero en inglés.

No requirements to be listed · Sin requisitos para aparecer

Any cleaning company can be listed here. We do not require insurance, a licence, a minimum time in business, or any other qualification. We are a directory whose purpose is to put cleaning companies in front of people looking for cleaning. We do not decide who is allowed to work.

Cualquier compañía de limpieza puede aparecer aquí. No exigimos seguro, ni licencia, ni un tiempo mínimo de actividad, ni ninguna otra condición. Somos un directorio y nuestro trabajo es poner a compañías de limpieza delante de quien busca limpieza. No decidimos quién puede trabajar.

Verification is voluntary · La verificación es voluntaria

A company may choose to send us a certificate of liability insurance, a business licence, or both. If it does, we look at the documents and its profile shows a badge with the date we saw them. That is the entire claim: we saw a document on a date. It is not a rating, not a criminal background check on any individual, and not a guarantee of the work.

A profile without a badge is not a warning. Most companies will not have one, because we never ask. Documents also expire: a date tells you when we looked, not that the coverage is still in force today. If it matters to you, ask the company before work starts.

Una compañía puede decidir mandarnos su certificado de seguro, su licencia de negocio, o los dos. Si lo hace, miramos los documentos y su perfil muestra un distintivo con la fecha en que los vimos. Eso es todo lo que afirmamos: que vimos un documento en una fecha. No es una valoración, ni una comprobación de antecedentes de ninguna persona, ni una garantía del trabajo.

Un perfil sin distintivo no es un aviso. La mayoría no lo va a tener, porque no se lo pedimos a nadie. Además los documentos caducan: la fecha dice cuándo miramos, no que la cobertura siga vigente hoy. Si te importa, pregúntaselo a la compañía antes de empezar.

This platform is new and growing. The number of companies and people listed here goes up every week, and some listings are still examples while we fill each city. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.

Esta plataforma es nueva y está creciendo. Cada semana entra más gente, y algunas fichas todavía son de ejemplo mientras se llenan las ciudades. Preferimos decirlo a aparentar lo contrario.

For listed companies · Para las compañías listadas

• Membership is monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
• If the membership lapses, the profile comes off the directory. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of the current month.
• Everything you publish must be true and yours: your own photos, your own company name, your own service areas.
• We can remove a profile without refund if a company misrepresents itself, if a document it sent turns out to be false, or if there is a pattern of serious complaints.

• La membresía es mensual y se puede cancelar cuando quieras.
• Si la membresía caduca, el perfil sale del directorio. Cancelar no da derecho a que te devolvamos el mes en curso.
• Todo lo que publiques tiene que ser cierto y tuyo: tus fotos, el nombre de tu negocio, tus zonas de trabajo.
• Podemos quitar un perfil sin devolución si una compañía se presenta como algo que no es, si un documento que mandó resulta falso, o si hay un patrón de quejas graves.

Sample listings

While the directory fills up, some listings are samples that show what a finished profile looks like. They are labelled as samples and their telephone numbers are in the 555 range reserved for fictional use. They are not real companies and cannot be hired.

Reviews and ratings

Ratings work in both directions: customers rate companies, and companies rate the workers they hire. Reviews must describe a real experience. We remove reviews that are paid for, written by a competitor, or contain personal attacks.
